A sense of fairness is something that comes to us early in life. By the time kids are three or four years old, they have already developed a keen sense of what is fair, and what is not.

    The citizens of Fairhope need to realize that all the infrastructure problems and electrical and water shortages are the result of neglect during the, Tim Kant, Can’t administration, 2000 to 2016. The second thing is that the same council as today with the exception of Cory Martin were on the council under Kant. Sherry Sullivan worked under Kant. The problems Fairhope has today were predicted years ago. The irony is, the same individuals want to blame the last administration, which had the same do nothing council.

    Baldwin County needs more representation on the county commission. People will say “just more talking heads.” The population of the county is topping 250,000 and the county only has 4 commissioners. The Commission should be an odd number so as to never tie or have a possible deadlock in voting on issues. Currently only four commissioners represent the entire county. With only four people voting a chance of a deadlock, split vote, is high.

    In Alabama politicians and elected officials will always go dark, rather than being transparent, when they have something to hide. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall is the worst Alabama Attorney General appointed in the last 50 years. He has done little for the state of Alabama since his appointment by Love Gov, Bentley. Complaints filed with the Attorney General fall into black holes, with little or no response from the A.

    If every municipality in Alabama had a “Concerned Citizen” such as the one in Columbia, Alabama, Alabama would not be so political corrupt. A concerned citizen is just the first step, where the hell is the Ethics Commission, Attorney General or FBI? If the allegations did not have supporting documents I can see where the complaint would go no where. But in the case of Columbia documents, witnesses exist and yet the Columbia City Council hides like sheep while the Mayor and Police Chief ignore any and all allegations.

CATALYST is lining up their candidates for Mayor and City Council and they all have excess baggage The current Fairhope Council are all CATALYST and represent the worst city council Fairhope has experienced in 25 years. Jack Burrell, the council president has held on to that position for two terms, 8 years.
