Two months ago I appealed to the Special Prosecution Office for the Alabama Attorney General, Clark Morris. The letter below was accompanied with a 100 plus page bound copy of information and evidence relative to the complaint. Copies were also given to The Alabama Bar, Governor, Judiciary, and Ethics Commission to name a few others. As of today not a single reply from any agency. The Attorney General and the Alabama Bar and the Ethics Commission are all covering up the allegations against Ethics Executive Director Tom Albritton.

O.J. French was only 32 years old when he was shot and killed after being pulled over for a vehicle equipment violation by Bay Minette Police, August 20th of this year. The Sheriff’s office of Baldwin County has a long history of leaking misleading information about cases or not releasing ANY information. When police officers are fired from one department and rehired by another neighboring department, you can be guaranteed problems will follow the officer. When you have police investigating fellow officers then you can be assured their will be no accountability and a BIASED INVESTIGATION. When you have taxpayers paying for police cameras and then the police withhold the footage, you have no transparency. When all of these facts come together you have a police state where the police are no longer public servants. When you have a sheriff that is the most powerful POLITICIAN in the county, 10 to 1 he is also the head of the good ole boys that run the county. When you have a sheriff that eliminates any competition for his office by supporting legislation that disqualifies most candidates for his office, you have corruption, some would say fixing an election.
The (Law Enforcement) Narrative
With the death of a beloved member of the Bay Minette Community shot dead after a 10am traffic stop one month ago, the people of this small southern town in Alabama have created the Bay Minette Justice League. Scott Johnson's article in the Lagniappe Newspaper is all about the narrative fed to the press by the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit, a fiction of Sheriff Huey Mack's imagination that has a long history of cover-ups and disinformation.

A Celebration of life for Carolyn Amick will be held Oct. 1 2022 between 2 and 4 PM Family and Friends are invited. The address is 22985 Highridge Road, Fairhope Alabama. A second Celebration of Life will be held in Birmingham in early October. The exact date has yet to be determined. Carolyn’s family greatly appreciates the kind comments and love we have received since Carolyn has left us. Carolyn would be overwhelmed at the response from hundreds of friends and relatives from around the world. We look forward to seeing some of you in Fairhope and Birmingham
