Alabama Ethics Commission is an organization that doles out immunity from prosecution to politicians seeking legal graft. The Ripp Report has filed numerous complaints with the Ethics commission in the last dozen years. Complaints ranging from the BP Oil Spill and our, last State Senator, boom boom Pittman, who skimmed a cool $750.000.00 for his personal company, while being the trustee of the funds. Alabama is first in political corruption. Now we will be first to install a toll on I-10. The only toll. If our political leaders have it their way, Alabama will be known as the toll bridge state.

Fairhope City Council President and Eastern Shore, MPO, Metropolitan Planning Organization, Chairman Jack Burrell considers himself a genius. He is the only one, because he leaves a trail of poor decisions, confusion, and corruption that affects his own constituents in a negative way. Jack has been busy. He is the Pied Piper of Baldwin County representing the special interests of Catalyst/Scott Boone Consulting. The Pied Piper is costing Fairhope millions.

Only in Fairhope can someone with a high school education become the utility director with absolutely no experience at the job. Mayor Sullivan gets a $25,000 utility salary as well as her second check as Mayor. No other job classification among Fairhope employees exists where “No Experience” is needed. The last session of the Alabama Legislature took tiny steps when it comes to accomplishing any real serious issues plaguing the state. Prisons, health care’ medicaid” and the gambling bill all wound up in the trash can. A plus was a bill that allowed alcohol to be delivered to your home, that was a top priority. Baldwin County really made a mistake when they elected Chris Elliott to replace Tripp Boom Boom Pittman as State Senator. Those that know the history, know Elliott was one of the three general partners involved with the political machine in Baldwin County. First known as Stacy Elliott and Haygood then Catalyst, until that name became toxic and now Scott Boone Consulting. A good ole boy club that has had a stranglehold on Baldwin politics and the judiciary.
