IT WILL PAY DIVIDENDS NO MATTER IF WHAT HAPPENS, THINGS WILL GO OUR WAY. I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT IN THE FUTURE, WE WILL HAVE DIFFERENT PEOPLE MAKING THE DECISIONS. HINT, HINT, THEY KNOW ITS COMING. THAT’S THE BEST BEST PART OF THIS POST!!!! (if you should qualify) who really think any of our Alabama politicians are actually thinking for one moment that they are in it this to help us??? You can now forget that crap! I have personally seen another sorry excuse for a politician, Kay Ivey’s run up the latter to only become Governor while tearing down the DREAMS OF SO MANY HARD WORKING ALABAMIANS putting their last nickel into the Alabama PACT program and totally screwing it up while she and several board members received 100’s of thousands of dollars to fail miserably and act as criminals to take away what was promised to those who worked so hard to try and accomplish with GREAT!!!!!!!!! sacrifices only to be told that they their own children would not be receiving what the lying and now current governor of Alabama swore to them what they would get in return. 100 percent liar and the facts show it!!!!! Has been for years and some of the politicians have been wagging their tail in awe just as they were when they were trying to convince us that they could not stand Trump. (That would be President Trump to you all!!!) When you all complain about some of the things Trump said on the Bus Sex Scandal. I have certainly heard worse from some of your biggest donors but, do not recall any of you sending back any contributions!!!!! you all know what I’m talking about. Spit the taste out of your mouth. Ive heard you all say it! But of course, while paying herself and the PACT personnel LOTS OF MONEY!!!!!! Plain and simple! We have went from a lying Criminal Bentley to a lifetime professional lying criminal Governor Kay Ivey! Who all the politicians mentioned in this article, Bryne, Pittman and Dorsey have praised Ivey even knowing the fact that she has screwed many of the hard working public who had hoped to have their kids college tuition would be paid for after the extreme and heart-wrenching and awful sacrifices that so many had made without Kay Ivey giving a crap or losing even ONE MINUTE SLEEP OVER IT!!!! Are you Surprised yet????? Hell no! IT comes with rewards as all our politicians get as bonuses. The more you screw the public, especially the hardworking and only truly honest people of Alabama….. You get a raise and a promotion OR REELECTED. This crap started long before the Bentley thing. IVEY HAS BEEN SCREWING US FOR YEARS!!!!! GOT IT ON PAPER! IT’S A FACT!!!! I think we would rather have someone talk about someone’s breast next to them than to steal and act knowingly in a criminal way against the hard work and compassion of the good and deserving parents and their children’s college education funds taken away as promised by KAY IVEY!!!!!!!! AWARDED FOR FAILING and putting the shaft to so many hard working and honest citizens of Alabama!!!! Sure, you can say Kay Ivey has always screwed US!!!! NO secret!!! It’s in the record book!!!! The Fairhope City Council is using the Baldwin County Political Dictionary’s definition for "Fairness". First, the council implements a hiring freeze to punish the mayor for firing two employees. Then they side with the developer and reject overwhelming objections from the public. This was done to be “Fair” and because of “the threat of a lawsuit.” Now the Council has moved to remove the Director of Economic and Community Development, Sherry-Lea Bloodworth-Botop, by reducing funds in the budget, thus killing the director’s job.

Fairhope City Council has shifted from a rude, loud, and bulling approached, that backfired on them, to a passive aggressive approach when addressing the mayor. The ultimate goal is to prevent her from doing her job and opposing any of her goals. The masked condescending and sarcastic comments remain along with the disrespect. If you missed the two and half hour council meeting Monday night be sure to go back and look at the video especially the mayor's comments in reference to the veto, an ordinance amending ordinance no.1572 Fly Creek Pud.

The quality of life in Fairhope is now being degraded by a city council that is more interested in failure than success. The current and past council president, Jack Burrell, along with his accomplice Kevin Boone, have successfully slowed city government and services to a point that had best concern us all. They have been engaged in a vindictive campaign to undermine the newly elected mayor. Mayor Wilson fired two employees, which is her prerogative as well as her responsibility if an employee or employees are not representing the city in the manner expected of them. Mr. Burrell and Mr. Boone then led the council to install a hiring freeze to PUNISH the mayor. They have additionally slowed down the budget process to a stalemate without providing any valid reasons.

COFAIRHOPE: ATTENTION MAYOR AND COUNCIL Dear Mayor and Council please take your positions seriously and understand that a part of your responsibilities is to discipline yourselves. The Fairhope City Council in the past has ignored any conflicts of interest, they may have, while voting on issues that they are personally involved with or have a business interest related to the applicant. The last council meeting had several members of the council that had conflicts of interest when it came to the voting on the extension of the sunset clause related to Fly Creek Apartments.

For the 10th time citizens packed the city council chambers to discuss the Fly Creek Apartments and again their comments fell on deaf ears. Four councilmen voted for the extension of the sunset clause that allows the developer another 120 days to get a multiple occupancy site plan. WHY? Well, three of the council stated they labored over the decision and even prayed about it. You ever notice how many times religion and God come up with political decisions and how God must be responsible! Then throw in the word FAIRNESS, mix it up with a bunch of senseless gibberish and you have the perfect formula of B— Sh–.

CITY OF FAIRHOPE CITY COUNCIL AGENDA MONDAY, 10 APRIL 2017 - 6:00 PM. - CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER Final Adoption – An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 1572: Fly Creek PUD Sunset Provision; Paragraph 3 (a). This will be the 10th time this subject has come up and it cost the previous mayor and others their jobs. No one is for the project except those married to it. Thousands are against it, however the city council keeps kicking the can down the road. Monday night, they can kill it or they will be forever be considered cowards who bowed down to the developer. A cross they will bare throughout their term.

BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD invade Fairhope Everyone in Fairhope, Alabama is now aware of the rude conduct of the two councilmen who were elected with little or no opposition in the last election. The mainstream news media, as well as social media has covered their bullying and condescending actions leveled at the newly elected mayor for months. Citizens have confronted councilmen Burrell and Boone directly and publicly at city council meetings using public participation, voicing their disgust about the bullying tactics. Preachers and pastors have even weighed in all to no avail.

How many balls are on the City Council? Place your bets and take note how many council members have forgotten what our last election was about— and their promises. How many will stand up for citizens, and how many have no balls. PLEASE make your voice heard! Monday night’s City Council meeting: Included on this agenda is the request to amend an ordinance (Item #6) that would allow an exception so that the Fly Creek Apartments' prior approval would not expire due to the moratorium. WHY IN THE HELL WOULD THEY EXTEND IT? This is the 9th public meeting— all of which has shown overwhelming opposition to the project.

The Ripp Report has been reporting on the Airport scandal since Nov. 2016, YOU DON’T KNOW JACK I have followed four Fairhope city councils and one thing I can tell you is with each new council several things became abundantly clear. The new members of the council are usually influenced by longer serving members. However, the newer members are usually kept in the dark as to the backstory involving long-term issues concerning the city. Another observation was the utter lack of transparency and accountability. I give our previous Mayor full credit for using the aforementioned tactics.
