The author of a book about the Montrose Hut is proposing to move it, but it's a real estate deal to benefit the owner and city councilman Boone, who is accused of being part of a political machine. The city is looking for donations to cover the moving cost.
The infrastructure failures in Fairhope are directly connected to Jack Burrell and his lackeys.
Doesn’t it make you feel more confident knowing Jack is “speaking for the people of Baldwin County.”
Jack is all for the toll’s and “increasing the county’s soaring population”.
Just what we need while infrastructure failures and sewage in the bay are daily occurrences.
Interested firms meet with ALDOT, begin competing for the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway Project The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) hosted more than 250 people from all aspects of construction, design and engineering at an industry forum for the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway
No one denies that a Mobile bridge is needed. What so obvious is that the politicians have united to make decisions contrary to their original promises. When the no tolls petition hit 50,000 the politicians panicked and started covering their asses. We heard no tolls, no federal money and “we have to listen to our constituents.”
The bridge is needed but traffic is second to expanding development, that is the major motivator.
The Bayway Bridge project started years ago with politicians biting their tongue’s and saying little about how they were going to finance the project. Then came the discussion about tolls, again they bit their tongue’s. Next, came Jim Zigler and his Facebook page:
Over 50,000 people liked the site and faster than a politician could tell a lie, they all flipped flopped and said no tolls. A year, and several plans later went by, and all of a sudden Mobile and Baldwin MPO’s have married together to give a unified front FOR tolls.
In Alabama politicians and elected officials will always go dark, rather than being transparent, when they have something to hide.
Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall is the worst Alabama Attorney General appointed in the last 50 years. He has done little for the state of Alabama since his appointment by Love Gov, Bentley.
Complaints filed with the Attorney General fall into black holes, with little or no response from the A.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!
Alabama’s Ole Mo probably sunk the Bayway “Truck Bridge” because of his strong conviction of the 10th amendment. Problem is, Alabama has no money and depends on Washington. So the 10th amendment will keep Alabama firmly last place in most major categories?
MO for U.S. Senate means NO More for Alabama.

Brooks says bridge funding local issue FAIRHOPE – A Republican candidate in the race to replace U.
Only in Fairhope can someone with a high school education become the utility director with absolutely no experience at the job. Mayor Sullivan gets a $25,000 utility salary as well as her second check as Mayor.
No other job classification among Fairhope employees exists where “No Experience” is needed.
QUEEN BEE Fairhope you made the biggest mistake voters could make, you let the bees eat the honey. Only 15% of the registered voters decided who would become Mayor of Fairhope.
One thing you can say about Fairhope City Council, is that they are consistent. Council President Jack Burrell, who has stained the seat as President of Fairhope Council for two terms, is now beginning his third term, as President. For 9 years Jack has monopolize a position that is normally shared by the whole council, but they do things different in Fairhope.
Mr Burrell and Council was sued, in Federal court, for denying public speech:
The last edition of the Ripp Report we exposed, again, how the Fairhope City Council President and former councilman lied to the citizens of Fairhope.
This is nothing new. In fact it is quite common. Only this time it was publicly documented. Four of the council sat on the last council. They were the least productive, obstructive and corrupt of any council that has ever represented Fairhope.

The council denies they knew anything about Robert Brown purchasing his ”family” property July 21 2020. Once it was made public and on the record, Council President Burrell got all tongue tied trying to defend his railroad nomination process. He contradicts himself numerous times and ends up with one of his episodes of gibberish.
SELECTED NOT ELECTED The Fairhope Mayor and acting Mayor Burrell are moving at lightning speed to replace Robert Brown’s seat on the City Council, before any citizens can say a word.
